Dr Dorman is a RSPB Ornithological Field Biologist (and the Field Team Leader) currently on Gough Island.

She wanted to go to Gough Island to work on the birds (particularly the critically endangered species such as the Tristan Albatross), for the science (to contribute to the long-term monitoring effort) and the remoteness of the island.
